The University of Florida Police Department (UFPD) is investigating a body found near the Lake Alice boat ramp on Sunday.

UFPD received the report at around 1:30 p.m. of a person in the wooded area of 2600 Memorial Drive that appeared to be deceased. Law enforcement and EMS arrived and confirmed.

UFPD is waiting to release the identity until the next of kin is notified, but a press release said the deceased person was not affiliated with UF. Investigators do not suspect foul play at this time.

“Investigators do not suspect foul play at this time.” Based on what information?

Won’t be surprising if this story disappears into nowhere.

Whatever happened to that early 2020 Ring Park Sexual Assault?

Yes, this story did disappear. Is the community supposed to live in fear of PoliceState never reporting relevant things?
