The Ramsey Show, hosted by personal finance guru Dave Ramsey, is set to begin airing live this week on a Christian radio station in Gainesville.

The “tough love” financial advice radio show was previously available in Central Florida only through late-night rebroadcasts, but starting Monday it will air on The Shepherd Radio Network as it happens.

The Ramsey Show is airing for the first time with MARC Radio Group, a subsidiary of MARC Media Group, LLC, at 2 p.m. Monday, and will return every weekday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on The Shepherd’s network of stations. Listeners can catch Ramsey on 96.3 FM and 1430 AM in Gainesville; 1270 AM in Orlando; and in Ocala and The Villages at 103.5 FM and 720 AM.

“We couldn’t wait to bring The Ramsey Show live to our Florida listeners,” Scott Miller, chief revenue officer of MARC, said in a press release. “This is not just talk radio; it’s life changing. What more important message could we bring to our growing base of listeners than live financial peace based on the greatest Book of all?”

Ramsey has authored 23 bestselling books, including “The Total Money Makeover,” which has sold more than 5 million copies. Since 1992, he has been giving famously blunt financial advice—on everything from tipping baristas to saving for retirement and paying off debts—through his radio show, which now reaches some 20 million listeners on more than 600 stations.

Ramsey, 62, is also the founder and CEO of The Lampo Group, now called Ramsey Solutions, a biblically-based financial advice company with a goal of helping people toward financial freedom.
