The city of Gainesville will host the next in a series of community workshops on Thursday about the future of the roadways near Citizens Field and the MLK Jr. Multipurpose Center.

The event is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Santa Fe College’s Blount Center, 530 W. University Ave.

This is the city’s third workshop about the revitalization project, and residents are invited to share their thoughts, including ideas for the park facilities and adjacent roadways of Waldo Road, NE 8th Ave. and NE 15th St.
