Gainesville police seek missing teen

Authorities are searching for a 15-year-old Gainesville girl who was last seen around the 2900 block of SW 42nd Street.

According to a Gainesville Police Department (GPD) release sent Sunday afternoon, law enforcement is requesting the community’s assistance in locating Lilyana Blanco. The teen is not in trouble, but GPD wants her home safe.

Blanco is a black female and is 5-foot-5 and weighs around 126 pounds. According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), she has lime green colored hair and multiple facial piercings.

Anyone with information regarding Mathis is asked to contact 911 or the FDLE at 888-356-4774.
