This whole story is wrong.. Chantel was not at fault for this accident. It was the starke driver.

Whoever wrote this article needs to get their facts straight!!! Chantel wasn’t speeding or swerved into this vehicle! I’m disgusted to see this sweet girl lose her life and then be blamed for it!! The guy was not 17! He’s in his 20’s. He was drunk and I’m a stolen car that he was driving at high speeds with multiple witnesses almost being hit or seeing him doing this. He lost control around that turn and slammed head first into Chantel! She went with her boyfriend to pick up her best friend Logan and was about 5 or 6 minutes from her house! Close enough to where her Grandma was on the scene before paramedics. Multiple people saw the accident! Several said it was about to happen before it did and had already turned around because they knew once he turned that curb he was going to hurt or kill someone. Stop making her look responsible for what he did! Get your facts right! He’s still in jail right now awaiting trial. Look it up. Don’t be a reporter if you don’t bother to get the facts right! That’s somebody else’s baby who’s life was cut so short, who you’re blaming for that! I am telling you fix it or remove it or I will do everything I can to find legal ways to go after you for false statements. You’re now informed so go ahead and leave this crap up and watch what happens!
