Logging truck overturns near Live Oak

A tractor-trailer loaded with logs overturned along 167th Road west of Live Oak on Monday morning injuring the driver.  

According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report, a 55-year-old Jasper man driving south on 167th Road east of 169th Road at 9:21 a.m., traveled around a right curve too fast and overturned onto the northbound lane, dumping his load of logs onto the east shoulder.

Emergency responders transported the driver to Lake City Medical Center where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to the FHP report.
