Two tractor-trailers collided along I-75 north of Alachua injuring two people on Tuesday night.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report, a 56-year-old male tractor-trailer driver from Stone Mountain Georgia was traveling north on I-75 near mile marker 411 around 11:30 p.m. when he was cut off by a car.
The driver swerved to the left and crossed the center median into the I-75 southbound lanes and collided with a tractor-trailer traveling south.
Both the 51-year-old female from Atlanta, Georgia driving the southbound tractor-trailer and the passenger —a 38-year-old male from Jonesboro, Georgia —received minor injuries, according to the report.
All southbound lanes along I-75 were blocked overnight for hours.
