The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that occurred at approximately 1 AM today near the intersection of 216th Street and 51st Drive in Suwanee County.
A pickup truck, driven by a 23 year old Fort White resident, was eastbound on 216th Street. Two pedestrians, a 28 year old male, and 26 year old female, both Fort White residents, were also eastbound on 216th Street, walking in the eastbound lane.
The pickup collided with the two pedestrians in the roadway with the front portion of the vehicle.
The male was pronounced deceased on the scene from his injuries, and the female pedestrian was transported to Lake City Medical Center with non life threatening injuries.Â
