K. Chuansakul via ShutterstockThe High Springs Police Department is looking for information in connection with a back yard assault Sunday night in southeast High Springs.
Police say an unknown assailant entered the back yard at a private home where a group of people were gathered. The person attacked a 58-year-old male with a baseball bat and then fled.
The victim, whom police did not identify, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
