A 38-year-old Big Lake, Minnesota, woman died and a Bronson man was injured in a head-on collision on County Road 345 near Rosewood in Levy County on Monday afternoon.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, a 46-year-old Bronson man was driving a pickup truck north on CR 345 and was approaching SW 55th Street at 3:35 p.m. The Minnesota woman was driving a sedan south on CR 345 and was also approaching the SW 55th Street intersection when the pickup truck failed to yield and collided head on with the sedan.
Emergency responders pronounced the Minnesota woman dead while in transport. The Bronson man sustained minor injuries.
