A Gainesville man died Sunday when he drove his motorcycle off the road along State Road 20.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol release, the 73-year-old male was traveling east on SR 20 two miles west of County Road 234 at 5:25 p.m. when he ran off the roadway into the median.
First responders reported the rider succumbed to his injuries on scene.
