One person died and another was injured in a crash that involved two motorcycles and a van on Sunday at SW 13th Street and SW 21st Avenue in Gainesville.

According to the Gainesville Police Department, the crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. when two motorcycles were driving at a high rate of speed and struck the van in the northbound lanes on SW 13th Street.
One motorcycle driver died and the other motorcycle driver was injured and taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
The van driver and passenger were treated on scene by emergency responders.
