A 46-year-old Orlando man was killed in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of County Road 335 and US Highway 41 north of Williston on Saturday afternoon.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the Orlando man was driving a sedan west on CR 335 and was approaching the intersection of US Highway 41 at 4:35 p.m. when he failed to stop at the stop sign and drove into the path of an oncoming 53-year-old Archer woman driving a pickup truck traveling north on US 41.
Emergency responders pronounced the Orlando man dead on scene. The Archer woman was transported to a local hospital after she sustained minor injuries.
