Police looking for man suspected of 10 robberies

The Gainesville Police Department (GDP) and the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) are asking the public to help identify and find a robbery suspect they consider armed and dangerous.

The two departments are conducting a joint investigation into 10 robberies they believe this individual has committed since Dec. 14. Eight of the robberies took place in Gainesville and two more in Alachua County.

A press release included security camera photos of the suspect, who is wearing a hoodie and a bright yellowish green mask in each one.

Authorities also released a photo of a man they believe may be working with the suspect.
