Two drivers were injured early Monday morning on westbound Interstate 10 in Suwannee County when one tractor-trailer overturned and another tractor-trailer was unable to stop and struck the first truck’s trailer.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, a 36-year-old Orlando man was driving a tractor-trailer westbound on I-10 near mile marker 291 at 1:33 a.m. when his vehicle left the roadway. He overcorrected back onto the roadway and the vehicle overturned onto its left side and came to a rest, blocking all westbound travel lanes.

A 41-year-old Kissimmee man also driving a tractor-trailer was unable to stop and struck the overturned vehicle’s trailer.
