Suwannee County single-vehicle accident kills 1

A woman died when her pickup left County Road 137 in Suwannee County, overturned and caught fire early Thursday morning.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, a woman was driving a pickup south on CR 137 south of 256^th Street east of Branford at 2:40 a.m. when the vehicle left the roadway to the east, overturned and caught fire.

Emergency responders pronounced the driver dead on scene. The driver was not positively identified at the time of the release.
