Northbound I-75 lanes in Marion County will be closed overnight Monday through Tuesday morning while repairs are made to the SW 66th Street bridge.
The bridge located near mile marker 347 south of Ocala was damaged when it was hit by an oversized tractor-trailer load on Feb. 22.
According to a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) release, the northbound lanes south of Ocala will be closed from 9 p.m. Monday, March 13, through 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 14.
Detours will be in place for this temporary closure with signs posted guiding motorists.

The FDOT release noted repairs to the bridge will continue for approximately 30 days. During that time, there will be intermittent lane closures on northbound I-75, and a single lane of the SW 66th Street bridge will be open with a temporary traffic signal on the bridge to assist with traffic flow. The SW 66th Street bridge may be closed during overnight hours at times during the repair project.
The FDOT schedule is subject to change due to weather or unforeseen conditions.
