The Levy County Sheriff’s Office is reporting the emergence of a sinkhole on SR-24 approximately one mile east of CR-345 in Rosewood.
Currently only one lane is closed, but the sinkhole is continuing to grow and could close both lanes.
Motorists using SR 24 this evening and throughout the weekend who are coming from US-19 in the direction of Cedar Key may be detoured. Allow for delays.
