A 26-year-old Trenton man died Thursday afternoon when his SUV left the road along US Highway 19 and struck a concrete utility pole.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol release, the man was at the intersection of NE 238th Street in Cross City at 12:15 p.m. when the incident occurred.
Emergency responders transported the man to UF Health Shands Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
