Two Live Oak men died and three were injured in a two-vehicle collision Monday morning in Suwannee County.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, a 25-year-old Live Oak man was driving a sedan west on US Highway 90 at 5:30 a.m. when he turned left to enter the driveway of a Jiffy Food Store in front of a 34-year-old Live Oak man driving a pickup pulling a trailer east on US 90. The pickup struck the right side of the sedan. The collision occurred just east of the 76^th Street intersection.

Emergency responders transported the three passengers of the sedan two HCA Florida Suwannee Emergency. The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered only minor injuries, but the two passengers in the sedan – a 50-year-old Live Oak man and a 20-year-old Live Oak man – were pronounced dead at the hospital. Neither was wearing a seatbelt.

The pickup driver and his passenger, a Live Oak man (age unknown), suffered minor injuries and were not transported to the hospital.
