North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Healthcare has announced a four-day, walk-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic next week in Lake City.

The clinic will run from Feb. 16 to Feb. 19 at the Lake City VA Medical Center at 619 South Marion Avenue. Hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., or while supplies last.

The clinic is open to veterans who have previously received care at any North Florida/South Georgia VA facility and meet one of the following criteria: 1) over age 65, 2) high risk, 3) essential workers (as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).

The Lake City VAMC advises attendees to follow the COVID-19 signage and park in the designated Blue Lot.

Those have received a first vaccine dose in the last 14 days or who have flu-like symptoms will not be vaccinated, according to a VA press release. Veterans must also be able to return in three weeks for the second dose.
