At midnight on Sunday, rescue units from Alachua County, Melrose and Windsor responded to a two-vehicle crash that injured six people in Waldo.

According to a press release, one vehicle appeared to have broadsided the other, causing one vehicle to also collide with a power pole.

First responders had to extract people from both vehicles and triaged six patients—two adult trauma alerts, one adult with minor injuries and three pediatric passengers with minor injuries.
