Buchholz 53, Creekside Knights 23

The Buchholz Bobcats scored four touchdowns in the first half and never looked back, routing the Creekside Knights 46-13 in the first round of the playoffs Friday night.

The #10-ranked Bobcats put on an offensive show in unraveling the Knights for the second time this season.

With the win, Buchholz is 7-1 on the season. Creekside ends its season with a 5-4 record. In the second round, the Bobcats will face an undefeated (7-0) Navarre.

Mainland 24, Gainesville 21

The Gainesville Hurricanes kept things close in the first half, scoring two touchdowns and evening the Mainland Buccaneers 14-14 in the second quarter. But 10 third quarter points by Mainland proved the difference as the went on to defeat the Hurricanes 24-21

The win propels Mainland to 7-1 on the season. Gainesville ends its season at 2-4.
