As we announced previously, this year we are bringing you two games live each week—one at 106.9 I Am Country and one here at mainstreetdailynews.com.

Buchholz (3-1) comes off a bye week after losing its first game of the season on Sept. 17 to visiting Cardinal Gibbons, 16-7. The Bobcats enter the contest ranked No. 6 in the Class 7A polls and will face a 7A District 2 Leon Lions team with a 1-2 record. The Lions fell 24-14 at home last Friday to Navarre and are riding a two-game losing streak.

Over at 106.9 I Am Country, Mike Ridaught and Cameron Parker will call the game between Hawthorne and Suwanee at Live Oak. The pre-game show starts at 7 p.m., followed by kickoff at 7:30 p.m.

Undefeated Hawthorne (4-0) is ranked No. 4 in the Class 1A state poll, and easily cruised past visiting West Port (Ocala), 52-20, last Friday. The Hornets travel to Live Oak where they will face a 3-2 Suwannee Bulldogs team that fell at Bradford, 33-12, last Friday, and has has lost two straight games after starting the season 3-0.
