Lake Mary High School quarterback Noah Grubbs has been named the 2025 Florida Dairy Farmers Mr. Football following a final round of voting by a statewide panel of high school football coaches and media representatives.

Grubbs, who was previously selected as the Class 7A Player of the Year, helped Lake Mary to a 12-3 record and the school’s first state title by completing 234-of-402 passes for 3,250 yards and 40 touchdowns with 12 interceptions. He completed his four-year varsity career with 11,537 passing yards and 143 touchdown passes.

The University of Notre Dame signee captured 14 of the 30 first-place votes and finished with 209 points. Class 2A POY Xander Edwards, a sophomore from The Bolles School in Jacksonville, was the runner-up, receiving eight first-place votes and finishing with 123 points.

Edwards rushed for 2,629 yards on 265 carries (9.9 avg,) with 44 TDs and also caught 17 passes for 211 yards for the 2A state runner-up Bulldogs (13-2).

Richard Roundtree Jr. of Hawthorne, the Rural Class POY, finished seventh in the voting with 25 points. The sophomore completed 174-of-266 passes for 2,581 yards with 30 TDs and 7 interceptions for the Rural state champion Hornets (11-1).

Scott Perry of Lake Mary High School has been named the 2025 Florida Dairy Farmers Football Coach-of-the-Year following a final round of voting by a statewide panel of high school football coaches and media representatives.

Perry, a Lake Mary alum in his 20th year as head coach at the school, led his team to a 12-3 record and the Class 7A state championship. It was Lake Mary’s first state title and came a year after finishing as the state runner-up in the school’s first state championship game appearance. He has posted a 153-72 record in his two decades at the school.

Perry, who was earlier named Class 7A Coach-of-the-Year, received 11 first-place votes and 156 points to finish ahead of Class 3A Coach-of-the-Year Donovan Masline of 3A state champion Raines (Jacksonville), who picked up 10 first-place votes and 147 points.

Hawthorne’s Cornelius Ingram, the Rural Coach of the Year, finished fifth in the voting with 52 points after leading the Hornets to their third state title in four years. In 10 years at the school, Ingram has compiled a 104-22 record with three state championships (2020-21-25) and three state runner-up finishes.
