The Eastside Rams’ struggles in 2020 finally ended, at least for one night.
Taking advantage of two fourth quarter touchdowns to blow open a close game, the Rams defeated the Santa Fe Raiders 20-3 in week nine high school football action Friday night.
After a scoreless first quarter, the Eastside got on the scoreboard first with a touchdown in the second quarter. Santa Fe cut the lead with a field goal to make it 7-3 at the half.
It was the first win of the season for Eastside, who improves to 1-6 on the season. Santa Fe falls to 2-4 and faces Buchholz on the road Thursday night.
