The Buchholz Bobcats look to continue their march through the Class 7A playoffs when they host University Friday at Citizens Field on Friday.
The Bobcats (10-1) enter the 7A-Region 1 semifinals contest coming off a 35-7 win over visiting Fleming Island last Thursday. Buchholz (Gainesville), winners of seven straight, are the top-ranked team in the latest regional power poll.
University (Orange City) enters the contest with a 7-2 record after traveling to Felter (Neptune Beach) last Friday for a 35-14 win in the regional quarterfinals.
The winner of the Buchholz-University game will advance to the regional finals round to face either Nease or Niceville next Friday, Nov. 26.

Over at 106.9 I Am Country, Mike Ridaught and Cam Parker will call the game between P.K. Yonge (Gainesville) at Trinity Catholic (Ocala). The pre-game show starts at 7 p.m., followed by kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
P.K. Yonge (Gainesville) enters the game on a seven-game win streak with an 8-3 record after easily defeating Crescent City 56-7 last Friday in the 3A-Region 1 quarterfinals. The Blue Wave jumped out to a 21-0 first-quarter lead and went ahead 49-0 at the half.
Trinity Catholic (Ocala) is riding a six-game win streak after starting the season 0-2. The Celtics beat Yulee, 35-7, last Friday in their regional quarterfinal matchup.
The P.K. Yonge-Trinity Catholic winner will face either Walton or Florida State University High School next Friday, Nov. 26 in the regional finals.
