The 1A District 1 Championship Swim Meet will be held at Northeast Pool starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.

The meet will take place at Dwight H. Hunter Northeast Pool located at 1100 NE 14^th St. in Gainesville.

Oak Hall, P.K. Yonge, St. Francis Catholic Academy and Union County (Lake Butler) are the local teams slated to compete. Click here for a list of the local swimmers and events.

Union County’s Eva Whitehead, a freshman, is expected to qualify for regionals in the 200-yard individual medley (IM) and 100 breaststroke events.

P.K. Yonge (PKY) boys and girls are projected to contest for title. Potential PKY winners are racing in the following events:

The 2A District 3 Championship Swim Meet will be held at NE Pool starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday.

Eastside, Santa Fe (Alachua) and Suwannee (Live Oak) will be competing. This is the first time Santa Fe has fielded a team. Click here for a list of the local swimmers and events.
