NCAA: No spring visits to schools for football recruits

Last month, the NCAA decided to suspend on- and off-campus recruiting until April 15th due to the spread of the coronavirus. However, on Wednesday, it announced that the dead period for recruiting would be extended through May 31st. This latest extension means that there will be no official or unofficial visits for football recruits, which are frequent in the spring. Spring evaluations also won’t take place, and basketball spring signees and transfers may need to make a big decision without ever having visited a school.
