
After playing to a 7-7 tie at halftime, the Newberry Panthers broke open the game with 14 fourth quarter points en route to a 21-14 victory over the Dixie County Bears in week seven of high school football Friday night.
With the win, Newberry extended its streak to six, and is 6-1 on the season. Dixie County snapped its own four game winning streak, and fell to 4-2.
The Panthers will attempt to keep the streak alive when they play at Santa Fe next week. Dixie County plays at PK Yonge in two weeks.
