The Newberry Panthers scored 26 first half points, and held on to defeat the Williston Red Devils 26-24 in week five of high school football action Thursday night.
It was the fourth straight for the Panthers, who are now 4-1 this year. The Red Devils fell to 2-3.
Newberry is home next Friday against Hamilton County. Williston stays home next week to face Wildwood.
