And as the regular season comes to an end, Trinity Christian (Jacksonville) has widened its lead at the top of the Prep Zone Baseball Power Poll.

The Conquerors (18-6) played in a national tournament in Cary, North Carolina, and played nationally-ranked teams from California, Oklahoma and Tennessee. They also picked up wins over the top-ranked team in Mississippi, along with No. 15 Columbia (Lake City), Lincoln (Tallahassee), and split two games with No. 3 St. Johns Country Day (Orange Park). That was more than enough to keep Trinity Christian as the No. 1 team again this week, receiving seven of the eight first-place votes.
