The Oak Hall School boys’ lacrosse team entered the first round of the lacrosse state playoffs as the No. 1 team in the state in Class 1A.
However, the Eagles’ dream of a state title was shattered in a 10-8 loss at home against visiting Bolles (Jacksonville).
Oak Hall (13-2) had built an early 3-0 lead, but the visiting Bulldogs (14-3) scored five goals in the fourth quarter to eliminate the Eagles.
