Sports beat: Buchholz boys lacrosse advances to district semifinals

On Monday night, the Buchholz boys’ lacrosse defeated Leon (Tallahassee), 11-3, to advance to the Class 2A-District 1 semifinals. They overcame a 3-0 deficit with 11 unanswered goals.

The No. 3 seed Bobcats (8-7) will face No. 2 seed Niceville in Wednesday’s semifinals.

The Buchholz girls are in action this afternoon at 5 p.m. The No. 2 seed Lady Bobcats (8-4), who received a bye, will face No. 3 seed Flagler Palm Coast (8-3) in the 2A-District 2 semifinals.
