Last night the Newberry boys basketball team cruised to an 80-46 win against visiting Dunnellon.
The Panthers (12-6) had five players in double figures, led by Steven Nelson, who scored 13 of his 15 points in the second half. Kobe Delima was next with 13 points.
It was the first of four games this week for Newberry.
The Panthers will host Interlachen tonight at 7:30 p.m., followed by a home game on Wednesday night vs. Gainesville (7:30 p.m.) and a road game at Santa Fe (Alachua) on Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
