The Santa Fe baseball team edged visiting Baker County (Glen St. Mary), 2-1, on Friday night in Alachua.
Zane Starling picked up the win. He threw 6 1/3 innings and allowed just one unearned run on three hits with only two walks and 11 strikeouts.
Conner Brown logged the last two outs to pick up the save.
The Raiders (7-1) will travel to Suwannee (Live Oak) on Tuesday.
In other action, P.K. Yonge defeated Cedar Key, 20-3, and Union County improved to 9-0 with a 1-0 win against Lafayette (Mayo) behind Tripp Davis’ three-hitter. Davis struck out 10 Hornets.
