On Wednesday night, the Tigers (17-1) erupted for 21 runs in the first inning and routed Hawthorne, 21-0 in three innings, to advance to next Tuesday’s region final.

Trenton will play the winner of tomorrow’s game between Williston and Dixie County (Cross City).

(BASEBALL) – Wednesday’s Santa Fe College vs. Northwest Florida State College baseball game at the FCSAA state tournament at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland started out as a pitcher’s duel.

NWF’s Dylan Delucia also struck out two in the first inning.

It was just a 1-0 lead for NWF after three innings.

NWF finished with 13 hits in the game, while Santa Fe only had five.

The Saints (29-12), who are ranked No. 8 in the NJCAA DI poll, will play at 10 a.m. on Thursday in the losers’ bracket against Indian River State College, which lost 12-8 to No. 11 Florida Southwestern State College.
