Two key matchups on Thursday night starts week four action in high school football

Looking ahead to this week’s high school football action, there are a pair of games on Thursday night.

Chiefland will travel to Cross City to take on Dixie County in the annual Battle of the Suwannee. The Bears won a wild 44-42 game against the Indians last year.

Chiefland lost a tough one last Friday 21-14 against Taylor County to open its season, while Dixie County is 1-1 after thumping Williston 40-18 last week.
