Union County blanks Fort White to advance to region finals

The Union County Tigers scored 12 points in the first half and then blew the game open with three third quarter touchdowns and cruised to a 47-0 win over the Fort White Indians in the second round of the Class 1-A playoffs Friday night.

After a 42-20 win over Keystone Heights last week, the Tigers are 7-3 on the season, and move into the Class 1-A Region 2 finals against the winner of the Hilliard-Madison County game next Friday night.  

Fort White ends its season with a 2-7 record.
