Union County blasts Chiefland

The Union County Tigers scored touchdowns in every quarter en route to a 42-7 victory over the Chiefland Indians in week nine of high school football action Friday night.

With touchdowns in the first and second quarters, the Tigers took a 14-0 halftime lead. But in the third quarter, they broke the game open against the Indians with three scores to lead 35-0.

Union County improves to 5-3 with the win. They face Keystone Heights next week at home. Chiefland falls to 1-6 on the year and plays at home against crosstown rival Williston next week.
