The Alachua County Library District will offer free tax help to people filing their 2025 taxes starting on Friday, Jan. 30.
At select library district locations, United Way VITA will provide free tax preparation services starting on Friday, Jan. 30, and AARP Tax-Aide Alachua County will be available starting on Monday, Feb. 2, through April 15.
Individuals will be allowed help with one tax return per one-hour session. Sessions are by appointment only, but walk-ins can be accepted, if time permits.
Due to the popularity of this service, appointments may not be available on the same day as requested. Saturday walk-in sessions are available on select dates at select locations. For more information about Tax Assistance at the Library visit, www.aclib.us/Taxes.
