Customers who visit the store located at 16308 NW US Hwy 441 in Alachua during the opening weekend will receive 20% off any service purchase and $70 off a set of four Bridgestone tires.
The new location, open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays, will aim for faster repairs and a modern experience with in-store digital displays, new automotive technologies and equipment operated by trained technicians.
Since operations started last month, Alachua’s Firestone has garnered 160 Google reviews with a five-star rating.
“We are excited to announce the opening of our newest location in Alachua, where we will expand our tire and automotive care services to better support our customers’ journeys,” said Marko Ibrahim, president of Bridgestone Retail Operations, in the press release. “We are committed to fulfilling our mission by serving this community.”
The new location will also demonstrate Firestone’s charitable initiatives.
The company will present a donation to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida during Thursday’s ribbon cutting to help the organization provide a safe and productive environment for local kids and teens during out-of-school hours.
According to the press release and Firestone’s website, the donation is part of the Bridgestone Driving Great Futures program, which has raised more than $30 million since 2015 to purchase vans and provide transportation grants to help over 600,000 kids and teens across the country get transportation to and from Boys and Girls Clubs resources.
Firestone operates under Bridgestone Retail Operations (BRO), a subsidiary of Bridgestone Americas Inc., headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. BRO runs the largest network of company-owned automotive service providers in the world, with more than 2,200 tire and vehicle service centers across the U.S. The centers include Firestone Complete Auto Care, Tires Plus, Hibdon Tires Plus and Wheel Works locations.
