The Greater Gainesville Chamber of Commerce celebrated local businesses reaching new heights at its Top Gun-themed 2022 awards ceremony on Wednesday.

With an historic number of applicants, the chamber handed out 11 awards to nonprofits and businesses that ranged from medical to tech to hospitality.

“We are so grateful for each and every one of you that are here tonight and so proud of your perseverance, hard work and dedication to your business and this community,” Eric Godet, CEO of the chamber, said. “You are what makes Gainesville great.”
