“We’re proud to continue growing in the Gainesville community,” said Raising Cane’s restaurant leader Seneca Cook in a press release.

According to the release, the new Archer Road Cane’s is the first with a double-lane drive-thru. Inside, customers will find local art and a showcase of memorabilia celebrating Gainesville through local high schools, university traditions and iconic landmarks. “We’re excited to deepen our roots, continue to build meaningful relationships, support local nonprofits and give back in ways that make a real difference,” Cook said in the release. “We look forward to serving our Craveable Chicken Finger Meals while growing alongside this vibrant city, celebrating its spirit and being an active part of the Community for years to come.”

Founded in 1996 by Todd Graves, Raising Cane’s is one of the fastest-growing restaurant brands with over 1,000 storefronts around the world and plans to open nearly 100 new ones in 2026 alone.

The brand is also expanding internationally with its first restaurant opening in Mexico this year and its first UK Restaurant in early 2027. The restaurant’s “Cane’s Sauce” is named the number one most craveable sauce in the restaurant industry and the most craveable chicken, according to the release.
