The Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) responded to a shooting call on Wednesday and found one victim in the 6900 block of SW 21st Lane, near the Tower Oaks Glen Apartments.
The ACSO reports that deputies arrived at around 5:20 p.m. and stabilized the victim, who was suffering from a gunshot, before transporting the victim to a hospital.
ACSO said the investigation is ongoing and asked for information from the public. The victim is a 17-year-old, according to WCJB.
