Authorities find Live Oak woman shot to death

Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) deputies found a Live Oak woman shot to death in her home on Monday in a case investigators believe is connected to two people found dead in Lake City.

According to an SCSO press release, deputies responded to 19159 76th Street in Live Oak and discovered homeowner Cinda South, 62, dead from multiple gunshots.

The SCSO Criminal Division and Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) agents investigated the shooting and identified two persons of interest—family members Kevin Wade, 34, and Brenda Wade, 38, who lived in Columbia County.

Law enforcement issued a Be On The Lookout (BOLO) and contacted the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) and Lake City Police Department (LCPD). LCPD officers notified investigators that the two suspects were found deceased in Lake City.

LCPD discovered both Kevin and Brenda Wade on Monday morning shot to death inside a car located at 258 NE Hernando Ave.  

According to the SCSO release, law enforcement indicates no other people are suspected in this case and believe the incident to be isolated involving the three deceased individuals.
