The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is seeking the community’s help in identifying a gunman who reportedly fired two rounds into a vehicle on Dec. 1.
The CCSO sent a release on Friday about the incident that occurred at 3 a.m. on Dec. 1, in the area of NW Brown and NW Noegel Road northwest of Lake City that involved two unknown white males and one white female who were following another vehicle.
The suspect’s vehicle is a grey or blue Nissan SUV that has a cracked windshield and a dim passenger-side headlight. The suspect, a male, got out of the back seat of the SUV with a black ski mask on, pulled a firearm from his waistband and fired two shots at the victim’s vehicle.
