A high-speed pursuit on Tuesday ended when the suspect crashed into a tractor-trail on the north Williston Road offramp.

According to an Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) release sent around 1:50 p.m., deputies and Gainesville Police Department (GPD) officers are on scene and the roadway has been cleared.
The suspect in the incident was injured in the collision with a FedEx tractor-trailer and was transported to a hospital pending multiple felony charges.
The GPD is investigating a precipitating incident regarding the suspect and this vehicle, which may result in additional charges.
