After further investigation, officers discovered Green had entered the bank and given a note to the teller directing the bank staff to give him all their money.

Green was transported to the Alachua County Jail following the incident.

According to the release, the courts will review Green’s mental capacity. He has been arrested multiple times in the past and the HSPD has placed him under the Baker Act, a Florida law that provides emergency mental health services and temporary detention for people who are impaired because of their mental illness and who are unable to determine their needs for treatment.
