Officers found a Glock 23 containing 18 rounds in the magazine and one live round in the chamber located in Farmer’s vehicle between the driver’s seat and the center console.

Due to the nature of the shooting, Farmer’s vehicle was impounded to complete the investigation.

LCPD obtained a search warrant for the vehicle.
